The Met: DUBFIRE

Live XR performance on-site at The Met Cloister

About

Volvoxlabs team got invitation to create a liver performance set for Dubfire’s techno music set under the Sonic Cloister project, a series of site-specific electronic music performances held by The Metropolitant of Art of New York.

Volvoxlabs came up with the full set of xR creativity and technology to create a very otherworldy presentation of visual and sound that bridge the metaverse and reality into a 1-hour cohesive live stream.

The Chapter House

The purpose of 3D scanned Chapter House is way beyond design the content workflow. We use the 3D model to design the unconventional LED panel layout and the layout of the dolly rail used for the additional dynamic camera movement during the performance.
